How to approach your teen about hotlines

If your teen is struggling with alcohol use, talk to them in a calm and supportive way about the resources available to help. Explain that confidential hotlines, counselors, and treatment professionals are there to provide guidance, answer questions, and connect them with the care they need, not to judge or punish them. Reassure your teen that asking for help is a sign of strength and remind them that you will support them throughout their recovery journey.
